HARRISBURG – To introduce his staff and the state services they can provide, Rep. Jim Rigby (R-Cambria/Somerset) will be hosting open houses at his district offices in February.
On Wednesday, Feb. 13, from 4-7 p.m. the first open house will be held at 1340 Franklin St., Johnstown. The second open house will be held on Friday, Feb. 15, from 4-7 p.m. at 125 Mary Drive, Suite B, Sidman.
“There’s nothing more important than residents of the district knowing that I’m here to listen to their concerns and answer any questions they have. My staff and I are dedicated to being accessible to everyone, whether they choose to reach out online, by phone or in person,” Rigby said. “The open houses are ideal for people who prefer to meet face-to-face.”
Light refreshments will be served. No RSVP is necessary, but residents are welcome to call the Johnstown office at (814) 536-9818 with any questions.
Available services include assisting District 71 residents with PennDOT paperwork, driver’s license and vehicle registration applications and renewals; information and applications for senior citizen benefit programs, including Property Tax/Rent Rebate and PACE/PACENET prescription drug programs; securing birth and death certificates (photo identification required); organizing tours of the State Capitol; copies of legislation and many others.
