Rigby Announces $500,000 in Funding for Opioid Monitoring Call Center in Johnstown
12/6/2021
HARRISBURG – Rep. Jim Rigby (R-Cambria/Somerset) today announced a $500,000 grant from the Redevelopment Capital Assistance Program (RACP) to relocate Telehealth Suite’s corporate call center.

The project will relocate the corporate call center into the Cambria Rowe building. The renovations include installation of a new HVAC system that incorporates COVID-19 prevention technology; the replacement of electrical wiring and systems; and exterior access improvements.

“This project was brought to my attention three years ago. I took an immediate interest and worked to get all the relevant players in the room together and move forward with making the project happen. Today’s announced funding will build on a previous grant received by the company to rehab the Cambria Rowe building and bring new jobs to the area.

“The call center is an important tool in caring for individuals recovering from opioid addiction,” continued Rigby. “Telehealth is an innovative and convenient way for people to connect with health care professionals and this company is using the format to help those working hard to recover.”

RACP, a $3.1 billion program administered through the Office of the Budget, provides grants for development projects that boost the economic, civic, cultural, recreational or historical value of the surrounding community.
