HARRISBURG – State Rep. Jim Rigby (R-Cambria/Somerset) is pictured at the state Capitol with Bishop Carroll Catholic High School’s Thomas Urbain, winner of the Senator Clarence Bell Memorial Scholarship. The award was given by the American Bikers Aimed Towards Education (ABATE) during their Monday rally in Harrisburg.
Thomas, who is a member of the Cambria Summit Chapter of A.B.A.T.E., is joined in the photo by his brother, Samuel, and Rep. Rigby. He was also presented with a citation last month by Rigby for obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout. For his community project, Thomas installed memorial benches at Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Gallitzin.
